The Tigers faced another tough team on day two of the Heights Holiday Tournament, squaring off against Massillon Jackson. The first period went back and forth, with each team scoring twice. Ian Kraus and Tyler Rudy accounted for the two Heights goals. The second period was not played so evenly, as the Tigers got bogged down in their own zone with frequent turnovers, and Jackson outshot Heights 16-1. Aidan Hall nearly kept the Polar Bears off the scoreboard, until they scored twice in the final two minutes of the period. Jackson scored again early in the third to make it 5-2. The Tigers responded with a goal from Dominic DiTirro, but they couldn't get any closer. Jackson added two more to make it a 7-3 final. Aidan Hall finished with 35 saves. |
