The Tigers won their fourth straight game, beating North Canton Hoover 7-1. The game was closer than the final score indicates, with both teams having their share of opportunities, but Heights cashed in those chances and put the game out of reach in the third. After a scoreless and evenly played first period, the Tigers broke free in the second. Constantin Blaschke started the scoring with a slapshot from the point, Ben Urbas followed with a powerplay goal and Trey Hopkins scored on a breakaway. Hoover scored late in the period to keep it close, but Heights sped past them in the third. Urbas and Hopkins each scored their second of the game, while Isaac Brown and Dominic DiTirro each added one. Aidan Hall came up with many big saves while the game was still close, and finished with 25. |
