On a frosty December morning at Progressive Field, the Tigers jumped out to a big lead against Mayfield and never looked back in a 9-2 victory. Heights scored five in the first and ran the lead to 7-0 before Mayfield scored late in the second period. Two more goals in the third sealed the win for the Tigers. Ben Urbas did most of the damage, racking up a career-high five goals. Trey Hopkins scored two, while Tyler Rudy and Ian Kraus each added one. Despite the lopsided score, Aidan Hall saw plenty of action in net, making 25 saves. |
