The Tigers opened the Thornton Park Holiday Tournament against the host Shaker Red
Raiders. Heights played a strong first period, highlighted by
Dan Cross-Call's second goal of the year, and trailed
2-1 at the intermission. The Tigers could not repeat the good performance in the second
period, however. Heights was thoroughly outplayed in the defensive zone and four Shaker
goals put the game out of reach. Jeremy Holmes,
Andrew West, and Milton
Carter picked up the remaining Tiger goals as the offense continued its productive
play. Ben Gaglioti was credited with 31 saves in the
loss. |
