The Tigers fell behind early and never caught up to the Rocky River Pirates in game one
of the Cleveland Heights Holiday Tournament. Heights got into penalty trouble and allowed
two goals in the first period. Rocky River scored early in the second to take a three
goal lead before the Tigers' powerplay got Heights back in the game.
Lee Allen and Andrew
West each recorded powerplay goals and the Tigers only trailed by one going into the
third. In the third period, Heights could not tie the game and eventually surrendered a
fourth goal to seal their second consecutive loss to a Red South Division opponent. |
