The Tigers lost to the Normandy Invaders in their second game in the Cleveland Heights
Holiday Tournament. Normandy scored early but Justin
Kalman's first career goal tied the game at one. Heights allowed three more Normandy
goals in the first period before Marcus Dancy scored in
the final seconds to help the Tigers gain momentum. Heights increased their level of play
considerably in the second period. The Tigers controlled the puck, worked hard to set up
scoring chances, and outshot Normandy 17-6, but the effort did not produce any goals.
Heights' scoring problems continued in the third period while Normandy scored twice more
to make the final score 6-2. Matt Crowell stopped 27
shots in the loss. |
