Heights avenged an earlier defeat to Rocky River with a 4-2 victory in the consolation
game of the Cleveland Heights Holiday Tournament. Rocky River took an early 1-0 lead but
Lee Allen scored to tie the game and
Marcus Dancy picked up a powerplay goal to put the Tigers
in front. Heights battered Rocky River with shots in the second period but
Pat Collins was the only Tiger to score. Rocky River
scored late in the second period but Heights' defense clamped down in the third period
and Chris Pesek added an insurance goal to secure the
victory. Matt Crowell's 20 saves earned him his second
win of the season and snapped the Tigers' eight game losing streak. |
