Following three lackluster outings, Heights actually played well in a hard-hitting
match against rival Shaker. Unfortunately, the Tigers' offense is still nowhere to
be found. Heights fired only 17 shots on net in their second straight shutout loss.
The only goal for either team came on one of Shaker's many powerplay chances in the
first period. The first period also featured a lot of 4-on-4 action as the refs felt
compelled to whistle every marginal infraction. Despite one goal allowed,
Ben Gaglioti turned in another fine goaltending
performance with 27 saves. With a final score of 1-0, this game became the Tigers'
eighth one-goal loss of the season.
