Heights lost their third game against Gilmour this season, falling 8-4 at home. The
Tigers had many scoring chances, outshooting the Lancers 36-33, but only
Ben Winger was able to convert. Winger followed last
week's hat trick against Kent Roosevelt by racking up four goals on Gilmour. His first
period tally made it 2-1 Gilmour, but Heights allowed the Lancers to score the next
six and build an 8-1 lead. Winger then exploded for three more goals in a four-minute
span of the final period. Two of his goals came with a man advantage, upping his
team-leading total of powerplay goals to seven. He still trails
Jeff Houser for the team lead in goals 18-16.
