The Tigers concluded the regular season with a tie against the Hudson Explorers. Heights
held a 3-2 lead for about three minutes in the third period after
Jeff Houser's shorthanded breakaway goal. Hudson came
back to even the score on a powerplay when the Tigers were whistled for too many men on
the ice. Peter Eckendorf totaled 31 saves for Heights
and was particularly sharp late in the game. He stopped 10 shots in the third period,
and another 7 in overtime. The Tigers' first two goals were recorded in the second period
by Nate Hall and
Ben Winger.
