The Tigers were out-gunned by the Bowling Green Bobcats on day two of the Thanksgiving
Tournament. Heights trailed 7-4 after goals by
Jeff Houser and
Chris Matthews early in the third period, but Bowling
Green scored the next four to close out the game. Houser had previously scored a
powerplay goal in the second period. Ben Winger
scored the Tigers' first goal and later added two assists. Heights tried to hang in
with the high-scoring Bobcats through a penalty-filled game, but BG's home-ice
advantage was too much to overcome. The Tigers had two potential goals waived off by
the referees.
