Heights seemed completely unprepared for the start of the Bowling Green Thanksgiving
Tournament and it resulted in a 9-0 loss to Padua. The Tigers barely survived the
first period as Padua buried 6 goals on 20 shots. Heights regrouped after the period
and played stronger over the last 30 minutes of play, but too much damage had been
done. The Tigers had a handful of very good scoring chances but couldn't put the puck
away, finishing with 8 shots on goal. Peter Eckendorf
made his first career start in net for Heights. The defense abandoned him in the first
period, but he finished strong with a perfect third period and 47 total saves.
