Heights snapped a seven-game losing streak, battering the Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin
Lions by a score of 10-1. NDCL hung in for the first period, but came apart in the
second. The Tigers had a 2-0 lead early in the second period until
Jeff Houser, Nate Hall
and John Sharpe put up three goals in a 75 second
span. That three-goal burst took the Lions out of the game. Heights built a 7-0 lead
before NDCL got on the board with a powerplay goal. Jeff Houser finished the game with
three goals for his first career hat trick. His linemates Nate Hall and
Ben Winger each scored two. John Sharpe,
Chris Matthews and
Evan Plunkett rounded out the scoring.
Nick Schmidt won his second game of the season with
eight saves.
