Heights finished the season with an 8-1 loss to Mentor. As in many previous games,
the Tigers struggled to put the puck away, with just one goal on 30 shots.
Jeff Houser scored the goal, his 24th of the year,
with an assist from Nate Hall. Mentor, on the other
hand, had far less difficulty scoring, with eight goals on 33 shots. Heights could've
mounted a rally in the second period when Mentor only led 3-1, but the Cardinals
added four goals in a three-minute span to put the game out of reach. In the third
period, the two teams combined for 14 penalties totaling 39 minutes.
