Less than four hours after topping St. Francis on Saturday morning, Heights was back
on the ice to meet the Toledo St. John's JV team. The Tigers struggled early on,
managing only a 1-1 tie at the first intermission, but came back with six goals in the
final two periods. Paris Murray and
Dee Samuel posted two goals apiece for Heights.
Ethan Farris, Jason Kelce
and Josh Janor scored the rest, making the final score
7-2. Nick Schmidt won his second game of the season
behind 27 saves. Farris and Samuel each notched their first career goal, while Kelce
extended his scoring streak to three games.
