Heights finished the Worthington Tournament on a sour note, losing 7-0 to Normandy in
the consolation game. The Tigers played well for the first 20 minutes, but the Invaders
played the full 45. Heights allowed a first period breakaway goal, but they were still
in the game until late in the second period. In what has become an all-too-familiar
occurrence, the Tigers suffered a massive defensive lapse that cost them the game,
surrendering four goals in less than two minutes. Normandy outshot Heights by a 22-2
margin in the second period alone, negating the Tigers' otherwise solid play in the
first and third periods.
