Heights closed the Thanksgiving tournament with a win, besting Erie Cathedral Prep
by the score of 3-2. The Tigers built a 3-0 lead and then survived an ugly third
period to hang on for the win. Jason Kelce put
Heights ahead with a second period goal, and
Rollin Hannah's first career goal made it 2-0
just minutes later. Paris Murray scored a crucial
insurance goal while killing a penalty early in the third period. Freshman goaltender
Daley Baker kept Cathedral off the board for the
first 35 minutes on the way to his first career win. Things got messy in the third
period as the teams combined for 14 penalties. The Ramblers took advantage of the
situation, scoring both of their goals on the powerplay.
