Heights finished with three losses in the Thornton Tournament, falling 6-2 to Mentor.
Neither team played much defense, as the 80 combined shots will attest. Despite having
chances, the Tigers couldn't buy a goal for two periods. Mentor led 5-0 in the third
before Rollin Hannah sparked the Tigers' offense,
setting up Paris Murray for a goal, then scoring one
of his own. Heights was consistently weak around their own net, so
Daley Baker faced a ton of difficult shots. He
totaled 42 saves, including 19 in the first period alone.
