The undermanned Tigers turned in a poor defensive performance, giving up nine goals to
Amherst Steele. Four players missed this game due to injuries and other commitments. The
remaining 11 skaters provided little support for freshman goaltender
Liam Robinson who was bombarded with 58 shots. At least
Heights' offense finally resurfaced. Paris Murray flew
past a defenseman and scored on a breakaway in the opening minute to snap the Tigers'
two-game scoreless streak. Murray later recorded two more goals in similar fashion,
garnering the first hat trick of his career. The other Heights goal came on a second
period powerplay, when Trevor Plunkett redirected
Dan Bray's centering pass.
