The Tigers' offense reappeared, but it wasn't enough to catch Walsh Jesuit in a 6-4 loss.
Walsh took a 3-1 lead in the first period and then the teams alternated goals for the
duration of the game. Each time Heights scored to move within one, the Warriors answered
to go back ahead by two. Martin Birk returned to the
lineup and made an immediate impact after missing six games due to injury. He scored two
goals, added an assist, and stands second on the team in points despite his absence.
Paris Murray continued to lead the attack with a pair
of goals, giving him six in the last five games. Penalties ultimately played a major role
in the outcome of this contest. The Tigers committed just six infractions, but Walsh
converted on four of the ensuing powerplays.
