Heights ushered in the new year with one of their worst performances of the season, a 9-2
home loss to Kent Roosevelt. The Tigers looked completely listless through the first half
of the game, then finally showed a pulse after Kent was already ahead 5-0.
Dan Bray stole the puck in the neutral zone and dished
to Paris Murray, who fired home his twelfth goal. Heights
managed another tally in the third period, when Alex Kraus
darted out from the corner and buried the puck to snap his long scoring drought. That was
all for the Heights offense, which totalled 13 shots. Meanwhile, Kent's nine goals came
on just 31 shots.
