Heights hung tough but came away with a loss at home against Normandy. Running mostly
two lines, the Tigers were never really able to match Normandy's speed and depth, but
they skated hard until the final whistle. Goaltender
Liam Robinson turned in a tremendous performance with
39 saves, giving Heights a chance to steal the victory. Freshman
Sam Brown put the Tigers in front with a late first
period goal. The Invaders got on the board in the second, and it was tied entering the
third. Heights had a few more scoring chances, but nothing materialized. Normandy kept
up their offensive pressure, eventually scoring twice to put the game away. |
