The Tigers dug themselves a first period hole and couldn't climb out, losing 4-1 to Kent
Roosevelt. Heights looked flat in the defensive zone, allowing 16 shots in the opening
frame. Kent led 3-0 at the intermission and the Tigers average fewer than 2.5 goals a game,
so a comeback was not going to be easy. The offense could only find the net once, when
Olof Nilsson scored early in the third. After a
seven-game scoring drought, Nilsson's tenth goal moved him back into a tie for the team
lead with Jordan Shoger. |
