Heights faced Lake Catholic's JV squad on the second day of the Thanksgiving tournament.
A 4-goal second period propelled the Tigers to a 7-2 victory.
Brad Shoger put Heights on the board with a powerplay
goal in the first. Sam Lauritzen and
Chris Zirm increased the lead with goals in the early
minutes of the second period. Freshman Zack Murray
followed with his first career goal to put the game out of reach at 4-0. But Murray wasn't
done, as he netted two more to finish with a hat trick. Goaltender
Liam Robinson eventually allowed two third period goals,
but he came away with his first win of the season.
Olof Nilsson finished the scoring with his first North
American goal late in the third. |
