The Tigers dropped another close one, opening the Heights Holiday Tournament with a 3-2
loss to Benedictine. The Bengals snapped a 2-2 tie with a shorthanded goal in the third
period. Heights had a couple late powerplay opportunities, but came up empty. Both Heights
goals came in the second period. Trevor Plunkett scored
on a wraparound, giving him goals in back-to-back games.
Jordan Shoger scored the other, following nice passes
from Sam Brown and
Phil Torres. Daley Baker
made 24 saves in net. Three of the Tigers last four games have been losses by an identical
score of 3-2. |
