Heights took a tough loss against Aurora on the second day of the Thanksgiving Tournament.
The Tigers played well for 40 minutes, dominated at times, but gave up two goals in the
final three minutes. Heights outshot Aurora 16-6 in the second period but couldn't find
the back of the net. It was halfway into the third period before
Jordan Shoger broke a scoreless tie with his second goal
of the tournament. A powerplay helped Aurora even the score with 2:30 remaining and they
kept the momentum, scoring again just over a minute later. The final shots were 34-26 in
the Tigers' favor, with Liam Robinson making 24 saves. |
