The Tigers were blown out for the second straight game in the Thornton Tournament, losing 10-1 to Mentor. Heights came out flat and trailed 4-0 in the first before Jordan Shoger scored on a shorthanded breakaway. It was 6-1 in the third when both teams started racking up penalties and Mentor tacked on three straight powerplay goals. Liam Robinson was bombarded with 50+ shots for the third time in the last five games.
