The Tigers' season ended with a sloppy 4-2 loss to Canfield in the opening round of the State Tournament. Neither team looked particularly good, but the Cardinals did a better job of finishing their scoring chances. Heights had more opportunities, outshooting Canfield 37-24, but the Tigers lacked the touch around the net. Most of the action came in the first period, with Jordan Shoger and Sam Brown each scoring, but Canfield came out with a 3-2 lead. The Cardinals added another in the third period, while Heights continually came up short.
