Heights got their first win of the year, opening the league schedule with a 2-0 win over Nordonia. The Tigers had the advantage in time of possession and a large edge in shots, but they couldn't put anything on the board until the third period. Zack Murray scored the game's first goal, burying a rebound after Ben Urbas worked hard to break out of the defensive zone and take the initial shot. Tyler Rudy added the insurance with his second goal of the year, also on a rebound. Liam Robinson made 16 saves in his second career shutout. |
