Heights celebrated New Year's Eve with a 6-3 victory over Parma at Quicken Loans Arena. After a slow first period, the Tigers buried the Redmen with a 5-goal outburst in the second. Tyler Rudy led the charge with his first career hat trick. Parma took exactly three penalties in the second period and Rudy cashed in each time, for three powerplay goals. Chris Zirm and Zack Murray also scored to give Heights a 5-2 lead after two periods. Jordan Shoger tacked on a shorthanded goal in the third, while Parma also added one more, to make it a 6-3 final. Liam Robinson picked up his fourth win of the season in net. |
