Still playing with only 10 skaters, the Tigers pulled out a hard-fought win on the road against Kent Roosevelt. The score was tied at two throughout the third period, when a Kent penalty put Heights on the powerplay with just over three minutes on the clock. On the ensuing faceoff, the puck went back to Trevor Plunkett at the point, and his slapshot found Tyler Rudy in front for the tip-in and the lead. The Tigers clamped down defensively for the final three minutes to seal the win. Liam Robinson finished with 26 saves. Jordan Shoger provided the rest of the offense, scoring twice while skating as a defenseman. |
