The Tigers claimed half of the Blue North Division title with a 2-1 win over Kent Roosevelt. Kent took a 1-0 lead early in the second period, but Jordan Shoger tied it with his fourth shorthanded goal of the season, the most by any Tiger since 1996. Chris Zirm returned to action after missing five games due to injury and scored the go-ahead goal, converting a back door pass from Zack Murray on a powerplay late in the second period. Heights kept the pressure on in the third and held the Rough Riders to five shots while closing out the victory. Liam Robinson made 20 saves in his eighth win. This is the first division championship for Heights since they shared the Red South crown in 1998. The Tigers now head to the Baron Cup for the first time since 2001.
