Heights started the new year with a 5-1 win over Bay. The Tigers didn't give their best performance of the season, but it was enough to overpower the shorthanded Rockets. Most of the scoring came early with a three-goal first period. Sam Brown scored twice, then Ben Urbas added his team-leading twelfth goal right before intermission. Isaac Brown chipped in a second period goal, and Ian Kraus made it 5-0 with a shorthanded goal in the third. Bay finally got on the board with two minutes remaining, breaking up the shutout bid for Aidan Hall, who finished with 16 saves.
