Heights faced Midview with a shot at first place in the Blue South Division, but a poor first period doomed their chances. For that one period, Midview outplayed the Tigers in all facets of the game, building a 4-0 lead by intermission. The next two periods were nothing like the first, but the damage was already done. Heights looked like a different team in the second period, outshooting Midview 12-4, and getting on the board with a powerplay goal by Sam Brown. The Tigers played another good period in the third, but they couldn't put the puck away, and it ended at 4-1. Aidan Hall finished with 18 saves. |
