Heights made it four wins in a row with a 7-3 victory over Canfield. The Tigers played well in both the offensive and defensive zones, staying in control throughout, and finishing with a 40-14 margin in shots. Seven different Tigers scored goals. Ben Urbas and Aleksi Vihanto made it 2-0 in the first period. Ian Kraus and Isaac Brown pushed the lead to 4-0 in the second period before Canfield got on the board with a powerplay goal. Heights came right back in the third period, scoring three straight to put the game out of reach at 7-1. Sam Brown, Aleksi Kuuri and Tyler Rudy each put one away. Canfield added a pair of late goals, but it was too late to make it close. Aidan Hall got win number 11 of the season, making 11 saves. |
