The Tigers came up just short against Brecksville, with a 3-2 loss on the second day of the Heights Holiday Tournament. The Bees had a speed advantage and Heights had to work hard to keep pace. The Tigers put together strong first and third periods, but the middle period was the difference in the game. Brecksville scored twice while registering a 20-5 advantage in shots on goal. Aleksi Kuuri got Heights on the board in the second with a powerplay goal, but the Tigers trailed 3-1 heading into the final period. Kuuri scored again in the third and Heights had a couple great chances to tie, but they couldn't make it happen on a late powerplay. Aidan Hall played well in defeat, making 30 saves. |
