The Tigers finished the Heights Holiday Tournament with a 7-2 loss against Rocky River. The Tigers had a strong first period and took an early lead in the second, but couldn't maintain their energy. After a scoreless first period, Tyler Rudy put Heights in front just 15 seconds into the second. The Pirates answered a couple minutes later and put together four straight goals, wearing the Tigers down in the defensive zone. Sam Brown scored an unassisted goal in the third period but the game became sloppy and both teams took needless penalties. Rocky River added three more in the third, despite the best efforts of Aidan Hall who stopped 15 shots in the period, and totaled 33 for the game. |
