The Tigers opened the inaugural NDCL Winter Invitational with a big win over Aurora. Heights was in control from the outset, taking 20 shots in the first period, but they couldn't put one past the Aurora netminder. That changed in the second period when Ian Kraus scored in the opening minute, and a flurry of goals followed. The Tigers scored four in the period and added four more in the third, while totaling 59 shots. Ian Kraus and Tyler Rudy each scored twice and linemate Ben Urbas added another. Sam Brown and Isaac Brown each scored in the third period and Peter Century joined the action with a quick wrist shot for his first career goal. Aidan Hall faced only 6 shots in his third shutout of the year. |
