Day two of the NDCL Winter Invitational started with Heights facing host Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin. The Lions got a head start with three goals in the first period before the Tigers finally got their offense working in the second and put up three of their own. Isaac Brown scored twice and Trey Hopkins scored once, but NDCL also put one on the board and Heights trailed 4-3 entering the third. The Tigers fired 17 shots on net in the final period and tied it when Ben Urbas scored with 2:30 remaining. The game ended in a 4-4 tie, with Aidan Hall totaling 27 saves. |
