Heights advanced to the Baron Cup championship game, but fell just short of their season-long goal. A slow start in the first period cost the Tigers, who spent the rest of the game battling back from a 2-0 deficit. Ian Kraus scored a powerplay goal in the middle of the second period making it 2-1, but Midview answered on their own powerplay a few minutes later. Heights played a strong third period but the situation was looking bleak until Tyler Rudy buried a breakaway with three minutes remaining. Down 3-2 in the final minutes, the Tigers brought on a sixth attacker, and Midview scored an empty-netter with eight seconds on the clock. Aidan Hall finished with 23 saves as the Tigers' 9-game win streak came to an end.
