Game Summary for 1/29/97 Heights 9 - North Olmsted 4
After a lackluster first period against North Olmsted, Heights turned up the intensity and stormed to a 9-4 victory over the lowly Eagles. Eddie Babcox got the Tigers going with two goals in the second period. Heights defense had a tremendous offensive game with goals by Mike Ross, Doug Turner, Brett Aber, and Sean Clark's first tally of the season. Jukka Kaartinen later notched his first goal on American ice. Goaltender Merrick Johnson took the victory with 27 saves while Owen May and Jeff Hindulak rounded out the Heights scoresheet.
