12/21/97 St. Ignatius 3 - Cleveland Heights 1
Heights ended the Thornton Park Invitational Tournament the same way it began - with
a disappointing loss. Although the Tigers played well, controlling the first and third
periods, they couldn't overcome three St. Ignatius goals in the penalty-filled second
period. Brian Clark's first period goal was all
Heights could muster in support of Andrew Markus,
who made 39 saves. The loss gave the Tigers a fourth place finish in the eight team
tournament.
