1/30/98 St. Edward 7 - Cleveland Heights 0 The Red North Division leading St. Edward Eagles proved to be the toughest challenge of the season thus far for the Tigers. After giving up a quick goal in the first period, Heights' defense recovered to play two strong periods, but were eventually overpowered by St. Ed's offense. Trailing 3-0 and having played fairly well through two periods, the Tigers collapsed in the third period and gave up four goals. Heights' offensive malaise continued as the Tigers have now scored a mere three goals in their past four games. Each of the past three Heights losses have been shutouts. |
