11/29/97 Cleveland Heights 4 - Toledo St. Francis 3 (OT)
Heights got their first win of the season in game two of the Bowling Green Thanksgiving
Tournament against Toledo St. Francis. Toledo built a three goal lead in the first
period but the Tigers would rally to get back in the game.
Eddie Babcox scored a breakaway goal in the second
period to get Heights going. Sean Collins then
scored on an end-to-end rush in the third period before
Doug Turner tied the game at three. On a powerplay,
Turner banked the puck in off Toledo's goalie from behind the net. The game entered
overtime where Doug Turner provided the game-winner, his fourth goal in two games.
Andrew Markus made 29 saves to earn the win.
