Heights ended the Holiday Tournament with a disappointing 5-3 loss to the Erie McDowell
Trojans. Trailing 3-2 after two periods, the Tigers spent the first seven minutes of the
third period killing penalties, allowing McDowell to score two power play goals. Heights
played well in the first period with Jeff Hindulak and
Lee Allen each scoring a goal. A crucial turnover in
the defensive zone led to McDowell's third goal of the game in the second period. The
Tigers final goal of the game was picked up by Doug
Turner, but with under two minutes left in the game, it was too late for Heights to
rally. |
