Heights' State Tournament first round game with Benedictine was a mismatch, but the
Bengals goaltending held the score close through two periods. With a 3-0 lead entering
the third period, the Tigers scored four more times and finished with a 56-9 advantage
in shots on goal. Heights goals were recorded by
Ryan Langan,
Pat Collins, Ben Winger,
Dan Cross-Call,
Nate Hall, Joe Ross, and
Mike Ruflin. The goals by Langan and Hall were the
first of their careers. Matt Crowell and
Ben Gaglioti combined for the shutout.
