Heights dropped an important divisional game, losing 5-0 at home to the Mentor
Cardinals. Through the first two periods, the Tigers had quite a few scoring chances,
but the offense was never able to put the puck away. Mentor's goaltender made some
outstanding saves, but there were too many point-blank opportunities that Heights
should've converted. Mentor scored once in each of the first two periods and then added
three more goals in the third, a particularly uninspired defensive period for Heights.
Ben Gaglioti, with minimal defensive support, stopped
33 shots.
