Heights missed a chance to take the lead in the White East division with a costly
overtime loss to Olmsted Falls. In a complete turnaround from the previous night at WRA,
the Tigers' offense operated very well, with a number of dominant shifts in the Bulldogs'
zone. Sadly, most of that effort went to waste because Heights didn't put the puck away.
Dee Samuel led the way with a goal and an assist, plus
he set up numerous other scoring chances that the team couldn't finish.
Jason Kelce scored the second goal, which briefly gave
Heights the lead in the third period. Although the offense clicked, the Tigers still have
much work to do in the defensive zone. Disorderly play and turnovers behind the blue line
gave Olmsted Falls many scoring opportunities and a pair of easy goals.
Daley Baker made 23 saves in the loss.
