The Tigers were completely outplayed in a 5-1 loss to Amherst Steele. Only 11 skaters
dressed for Heights and they quickly tired. An early injury and a 5-minute penalty kill
took their toll. With the game tied 1-1, Amherst scored three times late in the second
period to take the lead for good. The Tigers' offense barely threatened all night, taking
just 16 shots. The only highlight was Jesse Johnson's
powerplay goal, set up by Dee Samuel.
Daley Baker kept it close for much of the game with
26 saves, 14 in the second period alone.
