The Tigers fell 4-1 to Trinity in the opening round of the Thornton Park Tournament.
Brad Shoger's first career goal gave Heights a 1-0 lead
in the early minutes, but that would be all for the offense. Trinity tied the score late
in the first following a 2-on-0 break. Daley Baker made
a nice save on the initial rush, but the backcheckers arrived late, allowing a third
Trojan to score on the rebound. Heights just didn't play well as a unit, managing a mere
16 shots on goal. The Tigers spent the majority of the second period in their own zone,
and Trinity scored three times for the win. Daley Baker finished with 31 saves, his most
so far this season.
